Ben Sammons

Hello!

My name is Ben Sammons and I love building software that enhances and streamlines existing business processes. Many people go to work every day to suffer the inadequacies of software they are required to use, or the lack of software altogether. My passion lies with combating this problem.

I believe in empowering people to achieve amazing things never previously possible, not replacing them with software.

From 2010 to 2015 I studied at the University of Missouri. I studied Biochemistry, and then Computer Science, eventually earning a Bachelors in Computer Science. During that time I interned or worked part-time for a learning technology research project named iSocial, Archer Daniels Midland, Garmin, and then the College of Business.

In 2014/2015 I tried to help fix the state of US money transfers at Dwolla in their office in San Francisco, CA.

In 2016/2017 I improved the quality of active directory data everywhere while working at Hyperfish in Kirkland, WA.

From 2017/2019 I worked in Baltimore, MD, where I am subcontracted for the Social Security Administration on the Disability Case Processing System (DCPS).

In July 2019 Amazon hired me as a Virtual SDE, where I am working in HR to support associates everywhere.
